Chesterton Humberts/cebr January House Price Poll of Polls highlights North/South divide

• The January Chesterton Humberts/cebr House Price Poll of Poll gives increasing evidence of the north-south divide in the strength of the house price recovery.

• House prices in the five most expensive local authorities (all in London) increased by an average of 1.5% over the month
Three of the five least expensive areas showed house prices falling month-on-month.


• House prices in London continue to rise, showing the steepest annual growth in the UK.
